Reason for Treatment: Knee Injury- Torn ACL

This was a wonderful experience. Most people don’t look forward to therapy but I loved it. Not only was the staff so caring, the treatment was precise and helped me get back to almost 100%. I looked forward to the exercises I was taught and the instruction that was given to me post-therapy helped me continue the healing process. I was back on my feet in record time (for me). Thank you for your excellent treatment and wonderful staff.

I have become almost migraine free

Reason for Treatment: Migraines, Knee Problems and more

Initially, I came to OPT to help deal with severe migraines. I suffered with them since my preteen years. After about 2 months of treatments, they began to dissipate. Eventually, after returning for a “tune-up”, every 4-6 months, I have become almost migraine free. Since starting with OPT have returned on many occasions for treatment of some minor or major problems. I have always felt that my treatments were very successful. I often tell my friends how much physical therapy has helped me.

I know I’ll be in good hands!

Reason for Treatment: Tendinitis

I have been to another PT office in the past, Oakland PT is far superior! The staff is friendly and caring, the office is very clean, the individual treatment rooms are private and the one-on-one attention on the floor, are all things you appreciate when you are in pain and working towards better health. When and if I need PT in the future, I won’t hesitate going to Oakland PT. I know I’ll be in good hands!

Reason for Treatment: Broken Humerus Bone

I just passed my 1st Anniversary of my “break” and I am happy to say I made a full recovery from my fracture with the help of all the staff at Oakland PT. Everyone worked as a team so I was never left on my own. The place is immaculate; they are always cleaning and changing paper and pillows. Dr. F is grooving to the 80’s music as he stretched my arm back to normal. I recommend this group to anyone who requires PT.

Reason for Treatment: Low Back, hip and rotator cuff

Dr. Freund and staff are very professional and caring! They relate to patients like one big family. They are extremely gentle but firm and their expertise brings about good, lasting results in a relatively short time. Progress is certain with each visit. I didn’t want to leave the group! They are tuned into the patient as if each were the only one! Personal, integrated care!

Reason for Treatment: Torn ACL & Repair

July of 1999 I tore my ACL playing softball. I had surgery to repair the tear, gave 110% at PT, followed the doctors instructions and was able to go skiing the following February. The knee has been great ever since! OPT is awesome!

Reason for Treatment: Bilateral Knee Replacements

I spent 9 months with my Oakland Physical Therapy family; Dr. Freund (Rick) and his staff always made you feel comfortable.They are all professional and knowledgeable in what your needs were with lots of laughter, caring and compassion and good music at times. You would go to do Physical Therapy but it would become a social gathering with the same patients enjoying each others company. I would do another 9 months if I could! Once again, thank you for everything!

Reason for Treatment: Cervical Sprain

Dr. Freund and his staff have made a very positive difference in my life with their expertise and support. After a serious fall which resulted in a cervical sprain, I was in extreme pain and distress on a daily basis. After a few sessions I realized with Dr. Freund’s expertise and his kind and knowledgeable staff I would recover. The expertise and support continues after you leave OPT’s care. I learned exercises and important tips that I use on a daily basis now that my physical therapy is complete to maintain my progress and to stay healthy.

Reason for Treatment: Torn Rotator Cuff Repair & Torn Meniscus Repair

Torn rotator cuff- It was a long road to recovery, but it could have been a lot longer if it were not for the dedicated staff and Dr. Freund at OPT. OPT doesn’t have the big screen TV’s or the latte machines, but what they do have is a great staff that won’t let you quit or cheat at the exercises you are doing- which in turn speeds up your rehab. I recommend OPT to all my friends and family; can’t say enough about Dr. Freund and his wonderful staff!
