Orthopedic rehabilitation is a form of physical therapy that treats a wide array of conditions that affect the skeletal and muscular systems. Our physical therapist specializes in the rehabilitation of orthopedic related injuries and has over 20 years of experience in treating orthopedic patients.
Orthopedic rehabilitation is often prescribed as a pre-operative measure for patients in the hopes that they will strengthen the injured area and relieve the pain. Post operative physical therapy is also often necessary to aid in the healing process.
Some examples of the orthopedic rehabilitation we do in our facility are: joint replacements,
sprains and strains of the upper and lower extremities, cervical and lumbar pain, fractures,
carpal tunnel, rotator cuff tears and repairs, menisectomies and more.
Each orthopedic patient is different and has different needs that will be assessed by the
physical therapist during the evaluation and follow-up visits.
