Neurological rehabilitation consists of the evaluation and treatment of individuals who have sustained an injury or disease to the nervous system. Physical therapists work with these patients to help restore mobility, strength and balance so patients can move forward with their life.
Our facility focuses the treatment on the therapeutic exercise, balance activities, gait training, neurological re-education of movement, and training on proper use of the adaptive equipment.
Some of the neurological disorders we treat include: Stroke, Multiple Scleorsis, ALS/ Lou Gehrig’s Disease, Cerebral Palsy, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, Muscular Dystrophy, Parkinson’s Disease and a variety of Balance Disorders.
