Meet Dr. Robert Freund, DPT
Dr. Robert Freund, DPT has been a licensed therapist for 35 years. He attended St. Joseph’s College where he received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology. Upon receiving his Bachelor’s degree, Dr. Freund, went on to attend New York University, where he earned a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy Degree. Recently, he obtained his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Dominican College.
Dr. Freund began his career at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City, working with an array of diagnosis’ including neurological, orthopedic and sports injuries. During his time at Columbia Presbyterian he was also an associate clinical instructor for Columbia University. He later became employed by Hackensack University Medical Center as a consultant in the rehabilitation department and left to pursue his dream of opening his own practice in 1988.
Dr. Freund is an active member of the APTA and is a former Treasurer of the Northern New Jersey Chapter. He has also received a number of academic achievement awards, and enjoys sharing his knowledge and skills with others by speaking at high school and college events. Outside of work, Dr. Freund is an avid classic car collector and restorer. He also enjoys boating and jet skiing during the warmer months.
