Oakland Physical Therapy, P.A. is a comprehensive outpatient physical therapy facility which provides physical therapy services for a variety of injuries including: orthopedic, sports injuries, joint replacements, neurological, pre and post operative, and much more. Our clinic follows an Evidence Based Treatment approach for all of our patients.
Oakland Physical Therapy (OPT) was established in 1988 by owner and director Dr. Robert Freund, DPT. OPT proudly serves the Northern New Jersey area and has earned a highly regarded reputation with many physicians from Valley Hospital, Hackensack Hospital, New York City hospitals and many local orthopedic centers as one of the premiere therapy centers.

Dr. Freund and his staff keep up to date with current trends and concepts in the growing physical therapy field by attending conferences and performing research. OPT takes great pleasure in giving back to the community; a few of the things we do are; annual presentations to the local high school students, presentations and information sessions for the senior citizens, sponsorship’s and donations to local funds. Along with the physical therapist, Dr. Freund, we staff physical therapy aides who are always friendly, motivating and knowledgeable when working with the patients.

Our office is located in the center of Oakland in the Valley Professional Building. The building is equipped with ramps automatic doors, and is handicap accessible from the first and second floors.
